Lesley Rivera found the decision to specialize in the Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy an easy one. Following a foundation in orthopedic physical therapy as well as working with patients with chronic conditions, she began to see the connection of the pelvic floor to daily movements. After managing her own post-partum journey she became determined to help others no longer feel the frustration and embarrassment that comes from the pelvic floor: from incontinence, through pain and sexual dysfunction, and more.
Lesley combines her history of dance and triathlons with her hobbies of gardening, hiking, and art to take a deeper understanding of what the body is capable of and help people get back to the activities that make them who they are.
When not working, Lesley loves to pursue exploring the outdoors and will spend as much time camping with her family as possible. If not off camping, she loves to create with her kids – playing the piano, sewing, or creating art with glass.
