Mahima has been a practicing physical therapist for the past ten years. She has received advanced training in treating pelvic floor disorders which include pelvic pain, bowel and bladder disorders, pediatric pelvic floor issues, pregnant and post partum, sexual health issues.Mahima has expertise in treating pelvic health issues in people of all genders. Mahima also has expertise in treating people with hypermobility spectrum disorders. She is trained in managing people with EdS/hEDS through the Ehlers Danlos Society. Mahima is also trained in visceral mobilization, pain science and biopsychosocial model of pain. She has conducted various workshops and trainings to introduce and accelerate pelvic health physical therapy in Nepal.She also has contributed to a course taught by Herman and Wallace on Sex and Religion: Treating Conservative Religious Patients with Cultural Sensitivity.
