Professional Category: Occupational Therapist / COTA
I have been interested in women’s health since before I began my occupational therapy education. My graduate capstone study focused on intimacy changes throughout cancer diagnosis and treatment. I presented my research at the state, national, and international conference level.
After graduating from The University of Scranton in 2019, I began my professional journey in a local hospital, 3 months before the world shut down from the pandemic. While I worked through the pandemic, I was able to pursue coursework in pelvic floor therapy within one year of my full time practice. I have had the opportunity to work in private practice, primary care, and the outpatient hospital setting with one goal in mind… empowering people to improve their quality of life through pelvic floor therapy. My goal is to educate all of my clients that way they have lifelong success with their bladders, bowels, and intimacy.
Outside of being a pelvic floor therapist, I also am a certified yoga teacher. I love being at the beach, cooking, reading, and taking long walks.Specialty: Occupational Therapist / COTAConditions / Interventions:- Sexual Health
